Cade- Reading response #2 Jack- Exciting story from summer

Side by Side

My Dad's friend just bought a new side by side. He asked my Dad to build him a duck hunting rack, on the side by side, and he was showing him how he wanted it. Mr. Hays is his name. There are holes in the bed to build a rack. Mr. Hays put a bar in the hole to demonstrate. He was explaining how he liked it, and he dropped it. He thought that the hole would narrow down and catch it. Of course the bar just fell in the hole and out of sight. I went and got my flashlight and looked for it. I saw that the bar had fell at an angle, and we were never getting it back. Mr. Hays is going to carry that bar with him wherever he takes the vehicle. He just laughed about it and said oh well.

Killing The Rising Sun

Killing The rising Sun is a book about the historical events that happened for America to bring down Japan. I thought the book was very good. The book tells the story from different points of view. The book tells of what different people thought of the war. My favorite section of kind of point of view was where there was no mercy. I know that sounds extreme but " When you have to deal with a beast you have to treat him as a beast. It is most regrettable but nevertheless true." When you have to deal with a beast you have to treat him as a beast. It is most regrettable but nevertheless true." Harry Truman understood what we had to do to defeat an enemy that would rather die than lose a war. I completely agree. How do you treat someone is  mean to you. You want to be mean back and get some revenge. After Pearl Harbor this is how America felt. I believe without leader like truman; who was not merciful in dropping the atomic bombs; we would have lost the war. If we hadn't

Killing Patton

Killing Patton by Bill O'Reily is one of my summer reading books. I enjoyed reading this book very much. It showed me much of how the world works today. It showed how awesome of a person George S. Patton was. This book told me that politics can screw up every aspect of everything. Patton was a great 4 star general. He had less casualties more results and was much more effective. Killing Patton told me what is wrong with the world. This book showed me how corrupt governments, politics, and soldiers don't mix. Killing Patton made me feel glad that I am not high up in the world. If something bad happens everything would be my fault. If something good happened then it would be everybody but the person who did its fault. When I say this I don't dislike governments. All I mean by this is that people who are selfish are the ones who don't do anything. The one who should get credit are too humble to claim it. I don't want to be involved in any sort of anything that clears

My First blog

There are many things that I like to do that are unusual, for kids in my environment. One of the things I like to do for fun is research almost anything in history. One of my favorite topics is World War II. I like to research anything in the war, from great leaders to the technology that was used. I find it very interesting to read about heroic acts in times of need. These topics that I research inspire me to be something more than just another average. Once I first started researching wars, I took an interest the navy and special forces. This led me of course to the legendary navy SEALS. I wanted to be a navy SEAL. I researched BUDs, and this made me realize how difficult of a task that is. It made me want be one even more; it made me want to just go out and do workouts. I have since taken another turn. I began to research planes. Planes are awesome. This made me shift my focus my focus to being a naval pilot. I researched more and more, and decided that I want to go to the naval a
